The nursery is equipped with soothing music, swings, age appropriate toys, high chairs, fridge, microwave, bottle warmers, a seating area for breast-feeding mothers and a cozy sleeping area complete with cribs and bedding. For toddlers who are used to actively playing until lunch time and are accustomed to taking one afternoon nap per day, our caring staff is trained to tune into your child's individual needs and help him or her work through any separation anxiety. Our toddler play area is equipped with age appropriate climbers, toys, books, music, sensory and craft tables. Toddlers nap on mats after lunchtime; linens are provided. Please check in by 10am to allow your toddler time to adjust to his or her new environment before lunch and nap time. Ski/Snowboard Combo Package (4 - 8 years) - This program is designed for young skiers and snowboarders who are at least four years old but may not have the stamina to participate in all four hours of Ski and Snowboard School, and for parents who need a lesson program that accommodates a longer day of supervision. Children are escorted to Woollywood Kids School at Main Lodge, where they are grouped in classes based on age and ability level. If your child is not able to participate in the full four hours of lessons, no problem -- Woollywood staff will bring your child back to Small World, where he or she will be able to play for the rest of the day. The Combo Program allows parents to feel comfortable knowing that, at any part of the day, their child is being cared for by the knowledgeable staff at Woollywood or the caring staff at Small World. Parents will enjoy a full day on the slopes, from 8:30 to 4:30, while your child is interacting with other children his or her age. Children must be checked in by 9am with all of their ski or snowboard equipment, including helmet, goggles or sunglasses, gloves, and warm, waterproof clothing. Children must have sun block applied upon arrival; it is recommended that they have lip balm in their pockets. Lesson times are 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm. Supervised lunch is from 12pm to 1pm. Children who participate in the full four hours of lessons will return to Small World Child Care at 3pm.
