If I can do this, I can do anything!
DSES is a volunteer-based non-profit organization dedicated to changing lives of children and adults with disabilities and their families by:
In summer months we lead programs on boating, fishing, kayaking, rock climbing, horseback riding, cycling, camping, hiking, environmental and other outdoor knowledge and skills that allow our students to enjoy all the Eastern Sierra has to offer.
Winter Programs feature skiing and snowboarding for people of all ages. Those with physical or cognitive disabilities are able to have a fun and healthy learning experience on the snow.
We have developed specialized teaching methodologies to enable guests with special needs to enjoy their skiing and snowboarding experience. Every lesson is one-on-one and customized for each individual.
The program is operated from our facilities in the Panorama Gondola/Woollywood building at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area Main Lodge. Handicapped parking is available nearby. Directions and Map.
