Our experience in hosting world-class ski and snowboard events ranges from FIS World Cup and NorAm events to Alpine Masters National Championships and Paralympic Nationals. We host many U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team events and training, as well as Far West and regional races, plus events for ski clubs and racing leagues. We are also the proud home of the Mammoth Masters Team. Known for having state-of-the-art training facilities and one of the longest winter seasons in the US, the Mammoth Race Department offers a world-class training ground with several camps and training packages we can tailor to fit your team's needs.

WOMEN'S POWER SKIING TRAINING PROGRAM
12-Week Training Program
Wednesdays from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
This program specifically designed for women focuses on three main areas of training: intro to skiing gates, all-mountain charging, and technical power and precision.
All sessions are coached by the award-winning Mammoth Mountain Race Department’s Masters team coaches, Pierre Jeangirard and Amie Lonza.

Masters Team
Season Long Program
Every Thursday–Sunday from 9:30 AM–12:30 PM*
This will be the 27th season for the Mammoth Masters Team. It is the top-notch competition program for U.S. Ski & Snowboard (formerly USSA) masters racers, FWRA club, and league competitors in the nation. Geared toward the serious alpine ski racer, training includes gate drills, training courses, video analysis, race preparation with timed training runs and inspection practice, skiing drills, and free skiing.
Our honorary and professional coaching staff includes our Head Masters Coach, Pierre Jeangirard and Assistant Masters Coach, Amie Lonza, who integrate the latest world cup techniques and training equipment to get you and each athlete on their way to a winning season.
Masters Team registration fee includes entry to the Masters Race Camp.

Masters Race Camp & Opener
The Mammoth Masters’ Race Camp is open to the public and geared towards the serious alpine ski racer. Get ready for the competition season and the opening weekend of the Far West Masters Racing. Slalom drills, progressions and gate training, including video analysis.

Those wanting to join this program will enter on a trial basis and are required to participate in one of the two first scheduled weekends to confirm their ability level for acceptance into the full program.

Mammoth Mountain is well known for having one of the longest training seasons in the U.S. Our race department boasts a state-of-the-art racing facility with tons of opportunities for specialized team training space on-hill with assistance from our highly professional race crew staff. We offer training packages that include lodging accommodations, lift tickets, and meal options.
Training Facilities
The variety of terrain found at Mammoth means no matter what discipline your team wants to focus on, we can accommodate. Long, full-width race lanes are available in the race arena, in addition to private areas all over the mountain for alpine or freestyle training. The winter season starts early at Mammoth thanks to our expansive snow-making system, and our legendary spring skiing often lasts well into June.
Other benefits include salt bags (minimal additional cost) to keep your lane fast in the springtime and snowmobiles that are available for your convenience at an hourly rate.
Accomodations
All-inclusive training packages include lodging at Mammoth Mountain Inn, located near the mountain's Main Lodge at the base of the race arena. With the close proximity of the Inn to the slopes, it is the most popular choice of lodging for athletes. The Inn provides ski-in, ski-out convince, a fitness center, pool, hot tubs, movie rentals, high-speed internet, and an on-site general store, restaurant, and bar.
Receive complimentary access to a ski/wax room when you stay at the Inn.
Dining
Breakfast and dinner are provided at the Mountainside Bar & Grillinside Mammoth Mountain Inn, with a full view of the race arena. Lunch is available at Broadway Marketplace, located on the 3rd floor of Main Lodge, where your team can choose from a variety of food options, including fresh soups, a salad bar, burgers and sandwiches hot off the grill, and much more.
Meeting Space
If your team needs additional space to review videos or for team meetings, we have a variety of conference rooms available that can be reserved during your camp for a nominal fee.
