However, no shade if you do, Child Care at Mammoth Mountain offers full-day and half-day care in The Village.

We've got trails for you! How about renting a pulka and pulling the kids along for a thrilling ride? You bet! Plus, our Gliders programs for kids are sure to be packed with fun and excitement. Whatever your thrill-seeking heart desires, we’ve got it!

Woolly’s Adventure Summit is a family-fun favorite. Even the littlest ones find big fun in the snow play area where they can build a snowman, shred on a surf sled, and, on select days, hang out with everyone’s favorite fuzzy mascot, Woolly. New for 2024/25 is a two-story lodge offering food and beverages for the ultimate cozy hang-out. For kids 43” and higher, join your parents over in the tubing lanes where you can choose to ride together or, better yet, start a timer and see who scores the fastest speed. Loser buys lunch? We joke and wouldn’t be so silly as to think your kids are buying you lunch, YET.

Looking for a fun and magical evening? Head up to Canyon Lodge via the Village Gondola for our spectacular Night of Lights celebration. This annual event is packed with family-friendly fun, from music to festive activities, all leading up to a breathtaking fireworks display. While details vary each year, you can always count on something special for the kids—whether it’s games, giveaways, or unique surprises.

Pro tip: Keep an eye out for our iconic beanie drop and other cool prizes before the show begins.

End your day on the slopes with a fun-filled music and dance party in The Village on select Saturdays this season, led by none other than Woolly and our Ski & Snowboard School instructors. This event is perfect for kids of all ages, offering a chance to boogie down and celebrate a day well spent on the mountain. Whether you’re hanging out with the instructors or grabbing a dance with Woolly himself, it’s always a blast for the whole family.

Take a quick, 360-degree view of mountain terrain and ride up to the top of Mammoth Mountain, where you can grab lunch or snap a photo of the fam at our famous signpost. Further, tap into the history of the Sierra at the Interpretive Center, with kid-friendly displays and a wealth of knowledge from our hosts. A Scenic Gondola ride gets you unlimited access for the day. Two kids (12 and under) with each paying adult ride free.
