Most cell service does not work in the Mammoth Lakes Basin area but landline phones are available.

Our guests can enjoy the pool, hot tub, and fitness center at Mammoth Mountain Inn (10400 Minaret Road, across from Main Lodge). Show your Tamarack key at the Inn’s Front Desk for a special access card.

TVs & DVD Movie Library
The Front Desk offers a limited quantity of TVs with DVD players and an array of DVDs for you to enjoy in-room. Stop by the Front Desk to have a TV delivered and review the selection of blockbuster hits and timeless classics.


Boat Rentals (Summer)

Boat rentals, including kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards, and row boats, are available during the summer months for a day of fishing, or a pleasure cruise around Twin Lakes. A fishing license is required for everyone over 16 years and older. Reservations recommended.


Bike Rentals (Summer)

Rent a mountain bike and hit the trails on two wheels. Ride a full loop, or get free transportation back to Tamarack Lodge on the Town Trolley. Reservations recommended.


Bike Storage (Summer)

Cabin guests, you can store bikes and other equipment in your cabin. Lodge guests, you can store with the Front Desk.


Tamarack Cross-Country Ski Center (Winter)

Explore the Mammoth Lakes Basin on cross-country skis or snowshoes for some scenic family adventures or butt-kicking fun across 19+ miles (30+ kilometers) of secluded, groomed world-class trails. Guests staying at Tamarack Lodge can simply present their room key at the time of purchase to receive 20% off daily trail passes and cross-country/snowshoe rentals.

During peak periods and holidays, our hotel operates at or near full capacity. We will accommodate early check-ins based on availability, but the following additional rates apply: before 7:00 AM, full daily room rate; 7:00 AM–11:00 AM; half of the daily room rate.

Everything You Need to Know About Getting Here and Around the Town

To get to Tamarack Lodge & Resort from Highway 203, continue straight on 203/Main St., which becomes Lake Mary Road at the second stoplight intersection. Continue straight ahead. At the top of the hill, turn right at the sign for Tamarack Lodge. The lakes will be on your right-hand side and the resort on your left-hand side. Get Directions

Eastern Sierra Transit Authority (ESTA) offers free transportation around Mammoth Lakes with bus service to nearly every popular spot in town. Complimentary maps and schedules are available at the Front Desk. The Village is the transportation hub where you can access all bus lines via stop #90 on Canyon Blvd or the Red or Pink Line at stop #18 on Minaret Rd/HWY 203. View Town Bus Service


Deposit Policy

An advance deposit of half the reservation’s total plus tax is required at the time of booking. Final payment for the full balance will be charged 7 days prior to arrival. Reservations made within 10 days of arrival will require full payment at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

If you want to change or cancel an existing reservation, you must call us at 800.MAMMOTH or submit an online cancellation request.

You may cancel or change up to 21 full days prior to your arrival date with no fee and a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations or changes made within 21 full days of arrival will result in a full forfeit of the deposit. No-shows and early departures are subject to full forfeit of the entire reservation total and tax.

Resort Fee
A resort fee of $25 plus tax will be added per room, per night. This fee includes internet access, two (2) parking spaces per reservation, and seasonal amenities where available. Applicable taxes are subject to change.

Pet Policy & Fees
Up to two (2) dogs are allowed per cabin. Dogs are not allowed in our lodge rooms. There is a $30/night charge per dog and a $200 refundable damage deposit. No other pet is allowed at our resort.

Service Animals

Mammoth Lodging Collection properties make special allowances for Service Animals, but not emotional support animals.

Enforcement of Maximum Occupancy

The premises are for the sole use as a personal vacation residence and must not exceed the maximum occupancy established for each residence. No other guests, visitors or persons are permitted. If the premises are used, in any way, by more than the maximum posted occupancy, the Occupant will be charged $1,000 per person, per night in penalty fees; and the Occupant, Authorized Guests and all others may be required to immediately leave or be removed from the premises. Additional fines will be enacted if these and additional policies are violated. Policies subject to change without notice.


Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation
Your reservation will be charged a $1 per night donation. 100% of these donations will directly benefit the Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation. You may choose to decline this donation upon check-in.

The Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation raises funds to provide an added margin of excellence for academic and athletic programs as well as learning facilities to benefit our community's children. By supporting children in the Mammoth Community who study, train, and compete in our eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains, we will help them reach the highest levels in the United States. The Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation can only be effective in developing world-class students, athletes, and citizens, with your help. We are pursuing some lofty programs and goals because we believe in our kids and we believe you care about them as well.
